| We started with 3 guys in Tucson, Arizona, that enjoyed workin on Volkswagens. OK OK OK.... 2 guys that really liked working on Volkswagens, and one guy who really likes shoes (but he was still along for the ride). So we started a club, that was a lot like a family. Our goal is to find more people who like driving their Volkswagens every day, or at least when they can. (Even if that may be only once a week because they work from home building vw parts...) Dont get us wrong, we're all for checking out a trailer queen for detail, the time and dedication it takes to build them. It's sad when a car that beautiful gets rolled out of the garage, onto a trailer and to a show, then stowed away for a month... that's dub abuse... In our opinion whats the point of spending tens of thousands on a car and not enjoy driving it daily? We also decided that there are more people that feel the same way, so we decided the club would not be enough... We wanted to create a social forum, a community of Drivers. This is a place to swap stories of the heartache of keeping it running... to swap tech information, parts, good samba finds, new projects, old projects, or just to BS. So... log in, post up, hang on, have fun.... Whether you drive your Volkswagen because you would rather drive a 45 year old bucket, over the new BMW in the driveway with leather heated seats, air-conditioning, and heat, or because it's your only ride... it's about the passion.
